About
Founder of ALCSYTECH. I started as a programmer in the late 90s, when Visual Basic and classic ASP were the standard, and I have evolved with the industry: today I build with Node.js, React, Angular and Cloudflare Workers.
In infrastructure I have delivered everything from virtual data centers and corporate networks (VMware, Hyper-V, Fortinet, Cisco, AWS, Active Directory) to the ERPs that run the business: SAP Business ByDesign, Oracle NetSuite and route-to-market platforms like POWERSTREET.
My philosophy: technology only has value if it solves a real business problem. I don't believe in silos between development, operations and infrastructure — they are layers of the same system, and I have built my career across all three. That end-to-end view is what separates a solution that holds up in daily operations from one that only looks good in the demo.

Freelance IT Consultant
I lead infrastructure and development projects for clients across industries: corporate networks, virtual data center on AWS, Microsoft 365 and IP telephony. I build web and desktop systems —ERP, CRM, helpdesk, call center— with their APIs and the relational and NoSQL databases behind them.
2021 — 2023
IT Manager
I led the technology overhaul of the operation: Oracle NetSuite ERP, Softland HRM and route-to-market sales (POWERSTREET), on a virtual data center with VMware vSphere, Fortinet and Ubiquiti networks, Zimbra mail and Asterisk telephony.
2017 — 2021
IT Infrastructure Administrator
I administered VMware vCenter virtualization with Dell EMC storage, the databases and the Windows Server servers. I configured FortiGate perimeter security and Cisco network equipment.
2016 — 2017
IT Coordinator
I kept daily operations running on Windows Server and Oracle Hospitality (Opera Express), supporting MICROS Systems POS and access-control systems (VingCard, Saflok). I deployed antivirus and perimeter security.
2013 — 2015
IT Lead
I led the rollout of SAP Business ByDesign, HR Evolution, EFORCE and the Odoo ERP. I administered the servers, the network and the HANSA ERP.
2008 — 2013
IT Lead / IT Consultant
I deployed Active Directory, Exchange Server 2013 and SAP Business ONE, and built systems in .NET and Visual Basic. I was the IT consultant for the IDB-DEI project (eTax system with Oracle PL/SQL).
2001 — 2008
Programmer Analyst / Regional IT Lead
I built applications in Visual Basic, .NET and SQL Server, administered networks and databases, and took on production cost analysis along with regional IT leadership.
1999 — 2001
Programmer Analyst / Consultant
I built systems for the National Directorate of Administrative Probity and provided systems consulting for the IDB. I also installed and configured networks and handled technical support.

Do you work remotely?
Yes. I work on-site and remotely from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and have collaborated with teams and clients in different cities.
How do you quote a project?
It depends on scope. After a first conversation to understand the problem, I deliver a proposal with scope, deliverables, timeline and price.
How long does a project take?
It varies with size: from a few weeks for a specific integration to several months for a full system. The plan is agreed before starting.
Do you provide support after delivery?
Yes. I can take charge of operations and maintenance, or hand over a documented project and train your team.
Do you work with companies outside Honduras?
Yes, remotely and in whatever time zone we agree on.
